The Reynier Village Neighborhood Association (RVNA) and the South Robertson Neighborhood Council (SORONC) combined forces to bring neighbors together for a summer Ice Cream Social. A good time was had by all as neighbors enjoyed ice cream, watermelon, face/hand/arm-painting, children’s crafts and games and a rousing Drum Circle!
RVNA Disaster First Aid with Marci Sandell – 6/30/19!
Neighbors joined together at Reynier Park on a Sunday afternoon to learn Disaster First Aid techniques from Marci Sandell, EMT, CERT, Citizen Police Officer. Marci’s entertaining style is both fun and informative. She covered several important topics including various types of bleeds and how to stop them; improvised splinting for upper and lower limbs; identifying shock and how to address it; triaging people according to medical need and much more! RVNA is committed to helping neighbors prepare for emergencies.

RVNA Shenandoah Elementary School Task Force Raises Money for the School
The RVNA Shenandoah Elementary School Task Force chaired by Barry Levine and spearheaded by Jamela Debelak raised $247.00 at the 2018 summer Peace Picnic to benefit Shenandoah Elementary School. The funds were used to purchase 60 multi-colored rubber balls needed for the students’ recreation and physical activities.
